About us

My father, Marcos Gomes, was an accountant in Brazil. For more than 25 years he devoted his career to the audit of national and international banks.

In January 1994, our family moved to the United States. Like so many immigrants, we arrived with dreams, challenges and the will to build a new life. We soon saw a need inside our own community: many people needed guidance to understand the American tax and business system, but they could not find anyone to explain it in a clear, close and trustworthy way.

That is how we began. First, we specialized. Then, we started to share that knowledge with other people.

What was born from a need in our community became a purpose that remains today: to help people and businesses take their first steps, and to move forward with confidence, in a system that can often seem complex.

That is where our slogan came from: It all starts here. Because we believe that every great project begins with a decision, an idea, a dream. It may be the opening of a new business, the organization of your books, the peace of mind of keeping your taxes in order, or simply having someone at your side to guide you along the way.
